The School of Engineering at Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is an esteemed institution established by the Central Government to foster excellence in engineering education and research. Admitting its first batch of B.Tech. students in the academic session 2018-19, the School of Engineering offers a comprehensive curriculum designed to cultivate technical proficiency and innovation. Equipped with cutting-edge facilities and a strong focus on both academic and holistic development, JNU's School of Engineering provides an enriching environment for students to excel and contribute to technological progress. Admissions are conducted through the central counseling process for candidates who qualify in JEE (Mains).

Founded in 2018, School of Engineering began its journey in July 2018 with the express goal
of pioneering cutting edge engineering education in India, with the aim to make a significant
impact on industry and academia.

Course structure that integrates with modern day inter-disciplinary scenario

The B.Tech course covers the most well known disciplines of engineering such as Computer Science and Electronics & Communication Engineering (and is set to cover Mechanical Engineering soon).
